About Pascal Durr

I am a passionate Product Engineer, a product engineer in my view needs to find to ultimate balance between not only functional requirements but also quality requirements like performance, security, availability, scalability, etc, this all while embedding the functional extensions and technical improvements in a product road map to be executed via release management. I joined Since 2008 I am working for MPO in Rotterdam, MPO is the leading software vendor of Flexible Order Management for Dynamic Supply Chain Services. As of 2009 I have been responsible for various divisions within MPO, recent years my primary focus has been Product Management. At MPO I put software engineering theory into practice, i.e. using product (line), release and delivery management. As of 2022, MPO was acquired by Kinaxis and now lives on as Kinaxis Supply Chain Execution. My research interests are in software composition, of which aspect-orientation has been my primary focus during my PhD (Software Engineering group at the University of Twente). My personal interests include photography.
