About Pascal Kouame

My professional experience is substantially focused on Child protection but also on non-formal education as a mean to emancipation of the individual. Four phases mark these professional activities: From 2007 to 2009, in the IPEC / ILO Global Campaign to Combat Child Labour Awareness Unit. From June to December 2009, collaboration on the revision of INEE Minimum Standards for Education in Emergencies, during which there was overall support for the revision process of the INEE Minimum Standards Handbook. From 2010 to 2013, research on the contribution of social dialogue in the fight against child labour with the objective of setting up country profiles for Francophone Africa. Since 2014, as Programme director of the International Department of the Paris Federation of Ligue de l’enseignement, a set of social justice themes are addressed, through non-formal education, and thanks to the management of projects on education to European citizenship (financed by the EU) and on International Solidarity,(financed by various mechanisms including AFD (Agence Française de Développement), local, public and private donors institutions).
