About Pascal Marroyen
Working at Siemens since 2001 I have a lot of experience as a FSE (Field Service Engineer) in the field of drives and automation. One of the major projects I was involved in was the commissioning of container cranes in the Antwerp harbor. During the work as a FSE I also got the opportunity to share my knowledge in the Siemens Institute as a teacher for courses for industrial customers. These courses were mainly about drives, but also about basic automation and even KNX (no. 1 international standard for home and building control). After 9 years of field work I had the opportunity to become contract manager for the service contracts. Taking my experience of the field work with me this was a logical and very interesting next step in the world of industrial automation.
