Am a Quality Control Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering B-Tech from the University of Johannesburg. I verify the quality of products in and around the production line, with various measuring instruments, based on the dimensions from the engineering drawing. I Supervision and overseeing the QC inspectors, liaise with clients regarding release inspection and communicate with clients on ISO required documentation, queries and non-conformance. Improve efficiency for QC processes by implementing innovations and new ideas/ test rigs and test jigs. Daily spot check on all items that has been inspected by QC inspectors and review of all check sheets for accuracy. Training of QC team where needed and compiling of training records. Effective resolution of queries raised by QC inspectors. Generate Quality Dossiers and QCPs for all jobs/orders and facilitating shipping of same between document control and dispatch. I also possess entry level training and basic skill on fitting and turning, boiler making, G-coding on CNC machines and a few other research and design skill with solidworks, Creo, Inventor and a Google map maker. I’m an ambitious, conscientious person, spontaneous, creative and I don’t mind being challenged. I identify myself as pioneer that have the ability to drive and lead with progress, hard worker and good on being a team player, have good interpersonal and communication skills. I am well able to work under pressure, a quick learner and effective.
