About Pascal Pannier

With over 30 years of experience in oncology research at Sanofi R&D, I specialize in molecular and cellular biology, with particular expertise in genomics. My career began as a technician, where I developed my technical skills, before advancing to a laboratory management position after obtaining a master's degree in molecular biology. Currently, I am responsible for a target validation project, coordinating research efforts across various departments and ensuring reporting and progress in target validation in vitro. Additionally, I provide support to the department on issues related to gene expression measurement by RT-qPCR. Furthermore, I am involved in training students at various academic levels, ranging from master's, engineering, to professional license. I also possess bioinformatics skills for data analysis in identifying new targets. In recent years, I have focused my efforts on the "degrader" approach using Nanobodies and antibodies, thus exploring new pathways in oncology. Passionate about science and innovation, I am fully committed to seeking innovative solutions to combat cancer and improve patients' quality of life.
