About Pasquale Capasso

I'm a Project/Program Manager and Team Manager with 15 years of experience. Managing heterogeneous teams of 10+(up to almost 100) professionals in the IT and/or in the Entertainment industry to plan, execute and close complex and very large projects, managing and fostering their professional growth, managing business partnerships (from the very first shake of hands) with local and international clients, manufacturers and suppliers (of product and services), to ensure quality, performances, and profit, have been on my plate for the last 15 years. My daily work revolve around program management, functional management and project management activities, related to projects both internal and external to my business unit (/company), leading heterogeneous teams of professionals with passion, to reach business goals (usually exceeding expectations) while paying attention to their needs as human beings. I have more than 15 years of experience in managing large and complex projects (mainly in IT but also in the Entertainment industry), my activities covering every aspect of a project life cycle, from its initiation (including, but not limited to: giving an innovative idea a formal conceptual structure, acquiring sponsors and funds, writing technical offers and business plan to answer calls for bid/proposal) to its closure (including financial, technical, and performance reporting to the sponsor), i.e. managing time, costs, resources, communications, quality, and risks (including planning and executing preventive actions and contingency plans). I master traditional waterfall, incremental, hybrid and agile (Scrum and Xtreme) methodologies, i have a deep knowledge of the PMI body of knowledge and its relatively new agile integrations (i was awarded a PMP certification at the very end of 2022, and i'm an exam away from a Scrum Master and Product Owner certification). I put everything i can in what i do, i am flexible and always open to suggestions I love pool billiard, Magic the Gathering, Chess, boardgames, reading, live music, cinema, basketball I have not watched TV (and don't want to) for almost 20 years now I hate driving and love walking I'm not very active on any social networks I really hate lack of commitment and soullessness (that unfortunately i see way too much around me)
