My background is as white-collar crimes lawyer that during the last 15 years I have advised clients such as universal banks, large corporation, listed companies and State-Owned companies and I have covered the position of compliance officer and Head of Compliance for the Continental European region in a Magic Circle Law Firm. My practice is focused on designing, assessing and auditing of the internal system and controls and compliance programs regarding:(i) D.Lgs. 231/2001;(ii) Int. Sanctions;(iv) ABC;(v) Privacy;(vi) whistleblowing; and (vii) Market Abuse. I am covering and I have covered the role of Chair and Member of several OdVs pursuant D.Lgs. 231/2001 of universal banks, large corporation, listed companies and State-Owned companies. I have also covered the position of Privacy Contact. I have performed due diligence and analysis of internal systems and controls for in the context of a merger and acquisition (M&A) and IPO transaction. I have been member and team leader of several teams conducting internal investigations and audits, performing email reviews, supervising and conducting interviews, and drafting reports.
