About Pat Doyle
I was appointed CEO of Peter McVerry Trust in late 2005. My role is to lead on the strategic direction of Peter McVerry Trust as agreed with the Board of Directors and to oversee and manage all aspects of operation within PMVT. For the last 32 years, I have worked in the area of social inclusion, managing a range of initiatives, projects and organisations that work with marginalised young people at risk of homelessness, addiction and those within residential care settings and criminal justice institutions. This experience continues to underpin my work to promote inclusion and to open doors for homeless people within Peter McVerry Trust. I hold an H-Dip in Adult Education, a Masters in Sustainable Development and have recently completed a three year taught doctorate programme in the Educational Department in NUI Maynooth, specialising in “otherness/exclusion".
