Pat started her career journey with Custom Learning Systems in 1995, stepping in as an Administrative Assistant. Swiftly, she ascended the ranks to become the VP of Client Services. In this role, she played a pivotal part in shaping the Hospital of Choice – Service Excellence Initiative™, crafting essential materials and refining processes. Recognizing her exceptional talents, Pat was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2004. Within this role, she remains an integral member of the Executive Team, overseeing Client Services, spearheading content/process development, nurturing client relationships, and leading the Process Leadership College. What distinguishes her is her ability to forge meaningful connections with both her team and clients, epitomizing compassionate leadership. A driving force behind innovation, Pat co-developed the LEAD Protocol™, a systematic approach aimed at enhancing Leadership, Execution, Accountability, and Discipline to drive positive transformations in patient experience scores. In 2009, Pat introduced The Amazing Leadership Race, a blend of entertainment and education, designed to energize conference attendees through networking and enjoyment. Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Pat assumes the mantle of Chair at the HealthCare Service Excellence Conference, a premier event in its 24th year, renowned for its motivational content and rich discussions. Whether orchestrating behind the scenes or commanding the stage as an MC, she excels in every role. On a personal level, Pat faced profound loss with the passing of her husband in 2012. This experience propelled her to establish IntentionalGrieving.com, driven by a triple mission: preparing individuals for grief, guiding them through the journey of loss, and extending support to others in similar circumstances. Her aspiration is to leverage her own experiences to provide solace and aid to those in need, all while upholding and honoring the legacy of her late husband
