In my career as an engineer, I intend to never stop learning more efficient and effective ways to design and implement creative solutions to problems of interest. From the simple and mundane to the complex and chaotic, there is always an opportunity to learn something new. Recent/Past projects include: Participated in the design and implementation of software to control and monitor multi-path network of bidirectional delay line chassis. Software capabilities include local and remote control of eight progressive delays integrated with a 'Master Controller' and optical switch matrix to provide a highly configurable dynamic (sequenced) test environment. Developed software engine with senior consultation for switch matrix including several RF components, attenuators, switches, and RF amplifiers. Requirements included control and telemetry for 50+ coaxial switches with embedded hardware capable of self-test for 200+ switch positions in seconds. Under team led effort, designed and implemented a multi-process actor model test application for non destructive testing of digital medicine. Requirements included interfacing with PLCs/HMI and logging system-wide events. Later traveled internationally to assist in the deployment and verification of test system. Tasked with maintaining and troubleshooting a test system for radar warning receiver on site. Through troubleshooting and research brought system from BSOD to production state. Among many of these projects, tasks and responsibilities include both low level driver (LV FPGA, LVOOP) development for devices and instrumentation as well as the development of high level processes with API/SCPI/remote functionality and self addressed asynchronous messaging.
