I am currently the Marketing Manager for Leeda, one of the UK's largest and most forward-thinking fishing tackle companies. I am also a hugely experienced photographer specialising in outdoor sports photography and videography, product photography and corporate identity, with strong editorial knowledge and skills. My current role sees me managing all aspects of the company's multi-brand marketing needs, overseeing marketing activity for brands such as MAP and Wychwood via- Online B2B and B2C channels - Social media management - Event organisation and logistics management - Content creation and asset distribution - Press coverage for B2B and B2C - A team of 30+ brand ambassadors - Bespoke in-store branding opportunities I oversee a team of creative designers and marketers who I lead on a range of projects within Leeda to ensure that strong brand identity co-exists with clear product messaging to accompany our various sales channels. Before taking on the role of Marketing Manager, I oversaw the digital media side of Leeda, focussing on video promotions, product photography and marketing communications to assist the wider brand team and sales channels. I also helped to drive the use of social media as a primary form of contact and sales promotion with B2C end users. I have also worked in magazine publishing for 12 years, utilising my skills as a journalist in several roles (including editor of a national magazine) and later, providing cutting-edge photography across a wide range of consumer and trade-only magazine titles. Prior to working on magazines, I was employed as a sub-editor at South Yorkshire News group, designing newspapers and local magazines. I have trained extensively in photography and design, and have and extensive knowledge of a range of design and image manipulation software including Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. I am also fully versed in Final Cut Pro X, with videography and video editing playing a major role in my skill set. I am a team player but know when to step up to not only work as an individual, but to lead others with clear communication on how to fulfil a brief with a set timescale. I am based in Rugby, UK.
