About Pat Macy

I am currently a Director in our Population Health Consulting organization at Oracle Health (formerly: Cerner Corporation) in Kansas City, Missouri. I drive operational efficiencies and organizational strategies to support the Electronic Health Record Modernization Program for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Defense (DoD), and our other Federal Clients. I lead our project management team and created a functional operations support team to handle sustainment and maintenance strategy. My primary focus is supporting my team by setting priorities and goals, identifying operating efficiencies, managing margins and financial metrics to hit internal KPI's, Communicating strategic initiatives in a consumable way, scoping and slotting future contracts, and providing leadership and guidance through client escalations. I've held numerous positions at Cerner touching on everything from solution design and implementation to system troubleshooting, project management and organizational operations leadership. Prior to my Director role, I served as an Engagement Executive leading our team of HealtheRegistries Solution Consultants and contributed to strategic initiatives for our Population Health Organization finding efficiencies and managing projects to improve operations of our Client Consulting Service. Having grown up through the organization, I've developed a deep understanding of Cerner Consulting, Project management and our unique platform of HIT Solutions. I understand the platform and can speak to the process from the technical build, design, implementation to support. I was a student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and spent time working for the college of Business prior to working with Cerner Corporation. I studied abroad in Italy and have used that international management experience to inspire my education and provide perspective to each role I've had through my career. In my spare time I spend time with my family, travel, enjoy sports and volunteering on the Board of Directors for the American Royal in Kansas City. I'm inspired by how teams come together to solve critical problems and the community that builds from those experiences.
