About Pat Nolan

As Co-Founder and COO of Astatine, I bring over a decade of experience in the energy sector, specializing in the development and delivery of renewable energy projects. My track record includes leading initiatives such as securing a €25m project debt financing facility, delivering a 5MW Solar PV installation for Dale Farm NI, a 6MW ground-mounted Solar PV system for Arrabawn Co-Op, and numerous other impactful projects that reflect my commitment to sustainability and innovation. Motivated by a passion for combating climate change, I co-founded Astatine in 2019 with Tom Marren, our CEO, to deliver cutting-edge technical and industrial decarbonization solutions. At Astatine, we focus on decarbonizing industrial high-grade heat, including steam, and partner with clients to address their Scope 1, 2, and 3 CO₂ emissions through verifiable Science-Based Targets (SBTs). From initial consultation to project development, asset deployment, and project completion, I provide end-to-end strategies that enable our clients to achieve their sustainability goals. My expertise spans renewable energy, commercial modeling and contracts, project development, financing, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and project management, allowing me to drive innovative energy solutions forward.
