About Pat Rutherford

I am Technical Manager of ModuResources supporting the MR surveyors and SMEs in the field around the world who are conducting rig inspections, re-activations, acceptance testing and training on behalf of our many clients. This role also requires me to ensure our systems remain up to date and relevant with whatever changing regulations occur. I work in the oil and gas industry with a career spanning shipping, offshore and onshore rigs, engineering design, project management and senior management. I presently lead a very experienced team of oil rig surveyors and subject matter experts. ModuResources have a diverse portfolio of services that are offered to our clients spanning project management, conducting oilfield hardware assessments and acceptance testing though to training new personnel entering the industry on behalf of our clients. We verify that rigs are compliant with the regulations and industry standards and comply with any client specific contractual requirements. Each of our surveyors has more than 10 years’ experience and has worked in a hands-on senior role in their discipline so they bring that experience to the job. We are solution orientated and our goal is to get the rig ready to drill safely and to minimise downtime caused by equipment failure.
