About Pat Shepherd

I’m a Creative Strategist with an extensive background in brand, design and photography – I’m just as comfortable on the tools as planning and delivering the next creative, brand or marketing campaign. Over the past 20 years while honing my craft as a designer I’ve also started two print publications, co-managed an international charity, photographed hundreds of NZ’s most loved musicians, and launched my own charity – which has raised over $3 million to date. My previous role at Hatch was as a key part of a team taking a small fintech startup from a team of 8 to a business that was acquired for $40 Million in just 3 years. In March 2023 I stepped away from Hatch to join the design team at Snapper, as their Brand & Marketing Designer. I'm stoked to be part of a company that shares my values of a more sustainable world. My willingness to adopt new creative tools and my problem-solving nature have allowed me to grow a hugely diverse range of skills. Those coupled with empathetic communication skills and a strategic mind means I’m able to effectively work across a variety of departments to get the best outcome for the business.
