About Pat Sutherland
As I neared the end of my business degree program, one course was of particular interest: Mediation and Conflict Resolution. This class piqued my curiosity so strongly that I subsequently applied for the mediator training program through the Neighborhood Justice Center of the Clark County Courts and received mediator credentials. I was pleased to serve the community as a volunteer for the NJC whenever my schedule permitted, and to my great joy I was offered a position as mediation specialist in September 2012. I completed my advanced credentialing in December 2012. My dedication to the mediation process cannot be overstated as I have witnessed time and again its value and effectiveness in conflict resolution.
