I am Pathikrit Das, a passionate Mechanical Engineer with a specialized background in thermal management systems, computational simulations, and advanced composite materials. My professional journey is driven by curiosity, innovation, and a strong commitment to sustainable engineering solutions. With academic roots in core mechanical disciplines and hands-on experience in simulation, design, and research, I aim to push the boundaries of technology in energy systems, mobility, and defence applications. Over the years, I have cultivated deep expertise through academic and industrial roles. I hold an MTech in Engineering Systems from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, where I explored thermal analysis and battery systems. Before that, I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Hooghly Engineering and Technology College under MAKAUT, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology. These academic experiences laid a strong foundation in design, manufacturing, and energy applications. I’ve worked as a Technical Assistant at Techno India University and currently serve as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, under a SERB-DST funded research project focused on advanced hybrid laminated composites for Armor applications. These roles sharpened my expertise in FEM-based simulations, CAD tools, and advanced engineering materials. Beyond research, I have contributed to academic publications, presented at national conferences, and earned multiple certifications in SolidWorks, MATLAB, ANSYS, PTC Creo, AutoCAD, and more. My professional philosophy centres on innovation, collaboration, and the pursuit of sustainable, real-world impact through engineering design.
