I have been an academic researcher for eight years, involved in the synthesis of organic compounds that are applicable for medicinal purposes. Fragment based drug discovery (FBDD) technics were applied to synthesize hit compounds that will inhibit protein-protein interaction for the treatment of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Development of new multi-synthetic routes and purification was achieved for heterocyclic (tetrazole containing) and biphenyl (biaryls and ketones) compounds. I am currently an industrial researcher involved in developing processes for the synthesis and purification (enantiomer/diastereomer separation) of APIs from the batch scale to a manufacturing scale. I have two and half years of lecturing Chemistry and Chemical Technology at all undergraduate level with a group of 250 students.
