About Patrice Wright-Lewis

Patrice is a global educator and entrepreneur. She is currently the Middle School Director for the Isdell Center for Global Leadership at Pace Academy. As Director, Patrice is charged with the planning of global studies tours, faculty professional development and the implementation of global education into the curriculum. In this role she actively contributes to the school’s mission of cultivating global citizens and creates programming and curriculum that pulls forward the ICGL Outcomes of Leadership Skills, Global Mindset, Community Engagement and Cultural Awareness. Pace Acadmey students have visited all seven continents and by utilizing a focused lens of inquiry, programming highlights yearly global themes that include Water, Food, Conservation, Climate, Waste, Global Health, Education and Technology. With the development of essential questions, extensive curriculum based theme development and a robust study tour program, Patrice actively engages both the student and teacher population in the creation of global citizens. The Green Chandelier Event Company is a full service eco-friendly event planning company. Since 2009, The Green Chandelier has provided individuals, professional organizations, corporations and not for profits a fresh, innovative and creative approach in the planning and execution of conferences and events. Prior to the formation of her event company, Patrice has been planning meetings and events for over 10 years. The majority of her clients include minority associations, where she manages and organizes conferences, events and seminars whose primary purpose is to connect corporations seeking to retain diverse suppliers. Patrice has served on the Board of Trustees, for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Imagine It! Children’s Museum of Atlanta and Agape Community Center. An active member of The Junior Leagues of Kansas City, Missouri and Atlanta for over 16 years Patrice has an immense passion and commitment to the arts and civic engagement. Patrice holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master of Education Degree from Vanderbilt University and is the proud mother of two grown children, Taylor and Sydney.
