About Patricia Fleet

I have worked as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario for more than 30 years - beginning my career in mental health services. I have worked in community rehab for over 20 years. I am a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (C.O.T.O.). My experience is primarily with catastrophically impaired clients, including musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries, burns, acquired brain injury, chronic pain syndrome and mental health. I am experienced in conducting In-Home Occupational Therapy Assessments, Insurer’s Examinations, Physical and Cognitive Job Demands, Ergonomics, Assessments of Attendant Care Needs and return to work protocols. I assist clients in transitioning to their pre-accident environments (home, school, work place) and provide direct/indirect care and assistance in home modifications. I consult with insurers and lawyers on a regular basis. In addition to formal training in Occupational Therapy and clinical experience I have completed ongoing training and research in my areas of interest. I have taken on the Senior OT role so that I can get back to working more with clients. How can I help you and your clients?
