About Patricia Roca

I am Agronomist engineer and Winemaker from the University of Chile and a Master's degree in Business Management from Adolfo Ibañez University (AIU) with more than 20 years of experience in the wine industry. I have been a general manager and director of innovation, and currently manage my own company and work as a consultant, supporting wineries in Chile, Argentina, and other countries in quality management, innovation, and sustainability. My main achievements include managing the development of VCL, a leading and innovative company in the wine industry, where I had the opportunity to lead successful innovation projects. I also led the creation of the first and only laboratory specialized in oenological microbiology in Chile and the development of IIVO, the Wine Innovation Incubator, and La Oliva. Since 2018, I have shared my passion for wine through my personal project, RockWines, which focuses on producing wines on a human scale with heritage and emblematic Chilean grape varieties, with a circular approach and minimal intervention. Recognitions:* Agricultural Woman of the Year (Mónica Geber Award, AFIPA, 2021).* International Certification as a Mentor (Santo Tomás University, Madri+d Foundation, 2023).* International awards for my signature wines with RockWines (Rocksé, Almaray, Low).
