About Patricia Walker

Started at the University of Rochester in 2004 on River Campus as an Administrator and currently is the Finance Office Administrator at the Memorial Art Gallery. Over her years, she has successfully transitioned to UR Financials (Workday), UR Budget (Axiom), and P2P, procurement (Workday) systems at the University of Rochester. She manages two bookkeepers as part of MAG’s Finance Team and is responsible for high level financial reporting as well as approving payables, deposits, and journal entries. Patti works closely with leadership staff at MAG and University of Rochester. She believes to move forward, change will happen. How we use it to our advantage and allow us to improve our efficiencies shows our abilities to adapt. Married to Don Walker, Jr in 2003 and the birth of their son Hunter in 2006, Patti enjoys family time with her biggest highlight being able to cheer for her son (and his team) at lacrosse and hockey games. In May 2019, Patti was elected as a school board member at Gananda Central School District and is serving a three year term. Being a former Gananda PTSA President, Patti decided to run for BOE to continue her advocacy and involvement with the Gananda education community.
