About Patrick A. Merriam

Over the course of my career, I have evolved my creativity and intuition for digital transformation and continuous improvement by leveraging technology, delivery methodologies, portfolio management, and process improvement practices to solve business problems and optimize operations. I have always had an inquisitive mind biased towards creativity, technology, and continuous improvement. As a child, I created backdrops and figured out ways to hang my Star Wars toys so I could take pictures of them in action. In high school, I was the first student to do assignments on a computer and use video in presentations. In college, I started a video production business where I learned how to manage competing priorities. I also learned to manage the finances, operations, investments, marketing, selling, and customer service of a business. I even learned, out of necessity, how to build computers and network them. Owning a business makes you incredibly resourceful and creative. Over the past 20+ years, I have continued honing and evolving my digital transformation and continuous improvement skills and knowledge. At every job, I have proven to be a business, process, and technology-minded leader. My credentials validate a career of progressive responsibility with documented successes in the following areas: • Digital Transformation Strategy, Roadmap Development, and Delivery, • Continuous Business Processes Improvement, • Portfolio and Demand Management and Prioritization, • Financial Management • Data Analysis, Modeling, and Reporting • Thought and Team Leadership Personally, and professionally I continue to strengthen my interpersonal skills and work ethic. Seeing challenges and obstacles as growth opportunities and facing them with an open mind, I have become more receptive, adaptable, resilient, persistent, and flexible. As a provocative thinker and action-driven creative problem solver, I rely on my analytical mindset and intuition.
