About Patrick Allender

I was first introduced to volunteer work through volunteering requirements in high school. I worked for a lot of different places, but the ones that stood out were God’s Pantry and Bluegrass Technology Center. I worked at Bluegrass Career Services where I helped out with a lot of small things at the office. I mostly helped out with Excel documents and organizing filing cabinets, and when I was done with those tasks I mostly went from room to room asking if there was anything I could help out with. I feel like they could describe me as diligent and hard-working because of that. I also worked the front desk at Lifeworks where I mostly did the same thing, but I feel like I was able to contribute more since everyone told me how much I alleviated their time to focus on clients.
