About Patrick Amaya

I am pursuing a career in communications. I am a great public speaker with a passion to learn. I am proficient in CP style writing. I completed my co-op term as a communications student, where I wrote weekly news letter, created communication plans, and worked with the student committee to enhance student experience. Prior to entering my journalism program, I graduated from Humber College with a diploma in general arts and sciences. The program provided me with the tools to develop my writing and critical thinking skills. I spent one month in Cusco Peru working as an Archeologist’s Assistant for Projects Abroad. I excavated ruins from ancient Incan and Wari civilizations. I currently partner with Projects Abroad as an ambassador for their organization. I attend events and talk about my experiences in Peru.
