Generalist with a broad experience in international affairs, and biotechnology in relation to intellectual property (IP). Creative and proactive, stimulated by working together with others. Patent Expert: Many years of experience in patent search and examination as well as biotech patenting in general. As a Patent Expert I follow the patent practice in biotechnlogy patenting. An area of particular interest and expertise is ethical issues in relation to patents, such as patenting of embryonic stem cells and genes. Adviser International Affairs: Is representing Sweden at the WIPO governing bodies and has represented Sweden in various WIPO committees, such as Intergovernmental Committee on IP and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore IGC (from 2001-), Committee on Development and IP (CDIP), the Program and Budget Committee (PBC) and the Coordination Committee. Participates in PRVs international training programs, as a lecturer and organiser. A particular area of interest and expertise is the intersection of IP with genetic resources, and the use of IP in a development context for supporting creativity and innovation. Lectures on subjects concerning intellectual property.
