About Patrick Angelo

Dr. Angelo has 20 years of corporate wellness experience and spent the better part of two decades on the streets of Chicago, fighting homelessness and addiction. During that time, he educated himself on addiction, and its effects on the body and brain, as related to inflammation. His efforts resulted in the invention of Beyond Inflammation: a revolutionary way in which we understand, diagnose, and treat diabetes and other inflammation-based chronic diseases. The Beyond Inflammation is transforming lives with its unique, patented algorithms, and Dr. Angelo is currently hard at work bringing the Beyond Inflammation and App to individuals and corporate wellness programs. Dr. Angelo pursued corporate wellness before it was in demand. He founded CHC Wellbeing. Initially, the focus of CHC was to offer biometric screenings to help educate employees regarding their most important health risks. Today, CHC continues to provide screenings, but is a full wellness provider focusing on clinically based interventions along with digital and mobile tools. CHC reaches beyond physical health to emotional, social and financial wellbeing. CHC services multiple industries, geographies and company sizes through direct support and brokerage relationships. Dr. Angelo has a long-term passion for helping the homeless and has utilized his business success to fund his philanthropy. In 2001, he began regular trips to downtown Chicago to deliver blankets, gloves, hats, food and other necessities to homeless individuals. Over the years, his mission has transformed, he now organizes teams that travel on a nightly basis to locations across the city, where volunteers consistently care for the homeless population. Dr. Angelo has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, CBS News, Windy City Live and WGNTV. He was dubbed “The Angel of Lower Wacker” by the Chicago Tribune. Dr. Angelo was also recognized in 2019 as one of the 20 Most Inspiring Chicagoans by Streetwise, an organization that raises awareness on the impact of poverty and homelessness in Chicago.” Dr. Patrick Angelo is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and has served as an associate professor at the Loyola University College of Dental Surgery. Dr. Angelo has a national reputation as a pioneer in conservative techniques and holds two U.S. Patents based on no-stitch periodontal surgery and differential diagnosis of periodontal disease. Dr. Angelo has been recognized for his contributions by being the third Periodontist to achieve induction to the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
