Designed LED signs of all shapes and sizes from desktop to wall mount to over the freeway billboards at Adaptive Displays. Last design was a wall size high definition display. The challenges overcome were strength of the super structure & the heat & power management system. Analyzed the design with COSMOS (FEA software) & SolidWorks FlowWorks (CFD analysis) software to aid in the development. I've designed mobile cart solutions for the Medical Industry including cancer abatement systems that use nitrogen (Sanarus), radioactive injection system for CT scanning (MedRAD), HD fluorescence eye camera cart to detect newborn eye problems or shaken baby cases (Clarity Medical Systems). I spearheaded along with a very talented team designing an Ultrasound Cart for Philips Medical. It's the most tool intesive system I've been a part of creating. There are 20 injection molded tools of which 19 are plastic parts & 1 is a die casting. 2 other tools are Aluminum extrusion ones. It's design recieve high praise and awards and has been very successful in the market. I lead the way on the latest Medrad cart, the S8. This cart uses stereo cameras to locate patients and tools in the opperating room and displays the tool in use overlayed on a MRI off the opperating area. This design has a very large & shapely base casting to support the chassis. Also, consisted of 8 thermoformed coverrs, a machined shelf, and a large structuarl handle. The project was a pleasure and challenge to work on. I lead a team to create the first of a kink mobile hospital bassinet for Halo Inc. What sets this design apart is that the bassinet revolves 360 deg. and can rotate 90 deg. to be positioned over the top on the mother while in bed. The front door lowers & returns. Specialties: Design & analyze in 3D software either SolidWorks or Creo3 and run FEA software & CFD software such as COSMOS or SolidWork's FlowWorks to improve strength to weight ratio, costs, & ergonomics prior to production.
