About Patrick Ayers

Currently, I work for the STERIS corporation as the installation specialist in the Northeast region covering Connecticut to Maine. I am responsible for installing infection prevention equipment and surgical lighting and booms. Along with installing equipment I also perform installation site walk-throughs where I visit customers facilities review the site and determine if equipment can be installed and if the site meets our requirements. I have also participated in many special projects and have helped wright several service and installation manuals. I am the go-to-guy when other installers need assistance troubleshooting problems or just need advice on installations. I love my career and I feel blessed to be part of a great company and team. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Before STERIS I joined the navy in 2008 as an avaition structural mechanic, I worked on the FA-18F hydraulics and flight control systems. There I also developed a training program to qualify service member in BLS and CPR. Because of my program I was able to certify over 500 service members. I was later on was awarded the navy and marine core achievement metal. Then in 2012 I cross rated to MMSS machinist mate submarines. There I worked on hydraulics, high pressure and low pressure systems, pumps. While stationed on a us submarine I became the work center supervisor where I scheduled and planed maintenance for a work center consisting of 12 personnel. I planed and preformed training on several systems and safty procedures. I was also my divisions qualification cordinator where I issued and tracked division personel qualifications with the use of excel. While on board I obtained my EPA type 2 certification. Prior to the Navy I worked for the NYSE for a company called LL Partners LLC. there I was an assistant clerk where I would deliver trading tickets threw out the day to other companies on the NYSE floor.
