About Patrick Besten

Over the past 15 years, I've built a diverse expertise within the pharmaceutical industry. My current role as a Contract Manufacturing Project Manager at EVER Pharma (Group) involves overseeing two critical functions: External Supply Operations (ESO) and Contract Manufacturing. In External Supply Operations, I lead a matrix team to ensure that our products, produced at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), consistently meet demand and quality standards. This requires me to coordinate various processes, guaranteeing seamless operations and top-notch results. On the Contract Manufacturing side, I manage the tech transfer process, overseeing the transfer of technology and processes from our partners to EVER Pharma. This has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both sides of the industry and has enhanced my ability to collaborate with internal and external teams. My career has been enriched by roles in strategic project management and operational excellence. I began my professional life in quality control and chemical analysis, working under full cGMP requirements as a Lab Technician and QC Team Lead. These experiences have helped me develop strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. Outside of work, I have a passion for people, travel, food, cooking, and wine. As a wine collector, I love exploring new regions and flavors, always eager to share my bottle & dish with others.
