About Patrick Blanc

I have developed senior technical expertise in wireless systems (3G, 4G LTE, 5G, small cells) during more than 25 years experience, both on telecom system design, network optimisation and troubleshooting activities. I am passoniated by all technical challenges brought by radio environment and all innovations to push the limits of wireless performance! I am also managing teams of experts working on wireless network engineering activities in international environment. I like coaching experienced people to guide them towards excellence, and also helping beginners in discovering the wireless world and ramping up quickly on operational activities. I am also involved in technical discussions/activities with operators, working on features validation, performance optimisation or KPI troubleshooting on various networks such as Orange France, SFR, AT & T (US), TNZ (New Zealand), T-Mobil Germany, Vodafone group, etc. I like being challenged by customers on technical issues, and providing solutions to satisfy their needs. I have also published many contributions in standardisations groups (3GPP, ETSI, ITU-R), European research projects, conferences and filed several essential patents on UMTS
