About Patrick Buchholz

Patrick M. Buchholz joined Shared Medical Services (SMS) in 1991 and is currently Vice President of SMS Solutions Group. He has had extensive experience in many areas of the business operation at SMS, first serving as Director of Transportation and Safety from 1991 to 1994 and later as Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1998. Mr. Buchholz has also been a member of the SMS Board of Directors, and now serves on the Business Development Group.His responsibilities have included safety, administration, human resources, network operations and service programs. Mr. Buchholz has served as President of Shared Medical Equipment Group, LLC since 1998 and has been responsible for the development of the Solutions Group. Currently, his operations include interim solutions for CT, MRI, and PET/CT, rental/short- term leasing, equipment maintenance programs, equipment repair and refurbishment, and specialized transportation services. Mr. Buchholz received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business and Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1987. He began his career with Roadway Services, Inc. immediately following his graduation. He served as Operations Manager there until 1991, when he joined SMS.Specialties: Medical Imaging Solutions for MRI, CT and PET/CT.
