About Patrick Burke

I have worked with a wide variety of clients in a number of roles covering both the functional and Technical aspects of the Oracle eBusiness Suite. My background in both information technology and having a degree in business specialising in accounting allows me to work on both technical and the functional aspects of IT related work, being able to convert technical talk into business speak. I have worked on a wide variety of technologies in the Oracle space, with a majority of my experience in the eBusiness area. It has allowed me to work on aspects as varied as technical integration development to Technical lead for large projects. I have an interest in new technologies and utilise my skills in a wide variety of ways to develop effective solutions for customers. Since 2016 I have worked on Oracle cloud in the ERP space having worked on multiple (20+) Oracle Cloud Implementations in a technical role covering Integration, Reporting and Custom Application developent and Data migration roles. I have presented at a number of AusOUG conferences in Australia and has also presented at Openworld in a variety of topics including system administration, Oracle workflow and OAF/ADF. I also served as president of the Victorian Branch of AusOUG in 2009. Specialties: Functional and Technical Skills in Procure to Pay and System Administration for Oracle Ebusiness suite. I have also worked on Amazon Web Services managing AWS instances and with Cisco Service Portal and cloud based technologies.
