About Patrick Byrnes

Patrick is a senior at DeSales University set to graduate with a B.S. in Marketing and a B.A. in Musical Theater in May of 2023. In four years at the university, he has worked as the Marketing Assistant for the Act 1 Theater program. He has learned multiple styles of design, improved on his previous knowledge of Microsoft software, as well as proving proficient in research, writing, editing, and public speaking skills. In this marketing vein, along with all of the classes and capstones he was a part of in the business school at DeSales, Patrick was selected as the Marketing Manager for his senior project as a Theater major, a formation of a theater company among the senior class and the casting, creation, designing, and performance of a production of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" running for over one month. In this time he oversaw playbill design, the logistics of a "relaxed performance", and the successful partnership with a local business to promote the show. He worked closely with both an education liaison and box office manager to ensure the success of these goals. Artistically, he has been a part of multiple productions within Act 1 and at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, including Much Ado About Nothing, the Taming of the Shrew, and Little Red. He is a part of the 2023 Young Company at PSF and is set to appear in James and the Giant Peach, Henry IV Part II, The Tempest, and Sense and Sensibility. Patrick seeks to use what he has learned in both areas of study, as well as in his own personal experience, in order to most appropriately develop his work, be it in the world of business or art.
