Welcome to my profile! I’m a seasoned Navy officer and cross-functional leader with 17 years of experience at the intersection of strategy, technical execution, and organizational transformation. I’ve spent my career leading high-performing teams through complex, mission-critical challenges—from nuclear submarine operations to strategic innovation efforts at the Pentagon. Currently, I serve as Assistant Director for the Navy’s Get Real Get Better Directorate, where I drive culture change and performance improvement across the Fleet. In this role, I synchronize efforts across diverse commands to close performance gaps, promote systemic learning, and strengthen our warfighting advantage. What sets me apart is my ability to lead through ambiguity. I’ve overseen billion-dollar engineering projects, advised senior leaders on nuclear propulsion, taught leadership to future officers, and developed strategy-backed investment assessments for Navy decision-makers. Across every assignment, I’ve prioritized empowering people, building cohesive teams, and creating environments where feedback, innovation, and accountability thrive. My leadership approach is grounded in humility, continuous improvement, and a belief that the best solutions come from those closest to the problem. I focus on growing leaders, developing clarity from complexity, and aligning technical execution with strategic purpose. I’m not transitioning out of the Navy just yet, but I am beginning to look ahead. I’m interested in roles where I can continue building and scaling high-performance cultures, lead complex technical or operational efforts, and shape strategy that drives real-world results.
