About Patrick Chamberlain

My career includes lecturing at the University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University and Central Queensland University across the period of until the present. My strength is the ability to analyse and interpret complex data and statistical information; seeing patterns and trends. I am then able to present the findings in logical easy to understand ways. This talent led me to become an Intelligence Analyst for the Western Australian Police Service, and later the State Statistician. I also acted as a consultant on several corporate projects involving resource allocation modelling, spatial analysis of crime and crime pattern analysis. In addition to this I consulted with WA Health on patient stay modelling. After 10 years with the West Australian Police, I decided to made a career change and enter the optimistic world of education. I now teach Leadership, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics and Finance. I firmly believe that education and understanding makes the world a better place, and my past students are some of my biggest fans. I have also acted as a corporate consultant with a track record for developing analytical models, business plan financial analysis and research focus. I also have a keen interest in the environment and sustainability. In my spare time I practice improved horticultural techniques, permaculture and bee husbandry methods on my rural property. In addition to this I have an avid interest in astronomy, glass and clay based artistic endeavours.
