About Patrick Claybrook

Growing up, I knew quickly that I wanted to be an architect. Legos and K’Nex were my jam. During high school, I packed in four years of technical school in engineering/architectural classes that furthered my passion for architectural design. As a student of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas, I am actively practicing and improving my structural design skills. I enjoy the collaborative environment of studio - new languages of design and programming are my sweet spot. When it comes to aesthetic, I love to experiment with new forms of a structure and finding collaborative ways for human interaction and dwelling. I am also minoring in sustainability. I am refining my skills in Grasshopper to examine structures which comply with LEED’s requirements. I believe the future of architecture will shift to preserve our environment by making sustainable buildings through organizations like LEED.
