I am a Master Mariner (STCW II/2 Unlimited) and Chief Officer / Senior DP Operator with over 15 years of maritime experience across offshore renewables, deep-sea tankers, passenger operations, and naval service. Currently serving as Chief Officer / SDPO on a multi-purpose offshore vessel, I lead deck operations, HSEQ compliance, and Dynamic Positioning activities supporting windfarm construction, cable laying, subsea survey, and AtoN servicing. I have extensive experience with Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning systems, offshore lifting, and helicopter operations in challenging marine environments. Alongside seagoing expertise, I have developed a strong background in maritime safety, auditing, and compliance. This includes: Leading safety management system audits and crew training as Ship’s Safety Officer Preparing safety and operational reports for internal and client stakeholders Liaising with Flag and Port State Control inspectors, ensuring vessels remain in class and fully certified Managing accident prevention measures, incident investigations, and corrective action plans I am now seeking to bring this combined experience to two parallel career paths: Seagoing Senior Officer roles on offshore renewable energy support vessels (SOVs, cable layers, walk-to-work vessels). Shore-based roles in maritime safety, compliance, or marine accident investigation, where I can apply my regulatory knowledge and investigative skills to enhance safety standards across the industry.
