About Patrick Corcoran

I operate with the heart and mind of an entrepreneur. I have built a company from the ground-up, operating solely from a back-of-the-house office to managing a cast of 17 employees conducting an array of business in operations, brokerage, and service. I am a passionate worker with an entrepreneurial spirit, dedicated to working in the trenches to get the best sense of my business and its inner workings. I have the unique talent of being able to combine the skill of working independently and remotely while still being able to be an integral part of my team of colleagues. I am in constant motion—often awake at 4:00am to get a jump on the day and able to accomplish ¼ of my list before it’s time to make a hot breakfast that will send my family out the door. I love “living by the list,” and I find I am most accomplished when able to check off the important tasks of the day. I have managed extraordinary pipelines of business-from commodity tons at once to currently 50 million kwh of electricity at a time. I have a strength in relationship-building with a vast array of clients, proven by the over 300 contacts that I currently foster and maintain. I am energized by the art of establishing relationships. I am a gregarious operator, constantly searching for the art of connecting at the individual level and able to engage even the most headstrong and difficult clients. I can open to door to companies and clients who have effectively shut and locked it on my employees and colleagues. I thrive on sales and procurement challenges that are unique and difficult for companies.With over 25 years in sales and commodity management and movement, my experiences and long-lasting relationships have given a breadth of knowledge about people and the attributes that lead to their desire to work with a company. I am a hunter—in constant search of the next deal and sale to the benefit of both my employer and my sense of personal satisfaction. And I don’t give up.
