I am a vocational professional and a member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA) of Canada with the designation of Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) in good standing. I have approximately 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector as a Job Coach/Vocational Consultant & Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist providing various services and supports, which includes case management, employment counselling, advocacy, vocational assessment and planning, job search training, job coaching, referring participants for specialized & ad hoc assessments, assessment summary report writing, labour market research and service coordination for individuals based on identified need(s). I provided employment services to clients with mental health challenges as an employment specialist and accepted a role as vocational rehabilitation specialist with RBC Insurance. I have completed a university level disability management certificate which complements my degree in psychology and practical employment experience in vocational services.
