About Patrick Daugherty

I was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area, went to Harrison Highschool, and took the graphic design pathway. As a child, I always had a passion and love for movies and art, like the X-men and Spider-man cartoons, Ben 10, Danny Phantom, Toy Story, and so many more. Yet, I never thought of this as a career.As I got older and started to learn graphic design, I knew the passion I felt for it was strong, but I knew there was something else out there that would cure the itch I had to create. That's when, I finally found my way to Full Sail where they suggested, based on my interests and likes, that computer animation would be a great fit. While I was making my way through the school I found that character animation is what came most naturally to me and where I had the most fun. I really started to learn the fundamentals of animation, and have been working every day to create my own style and learn the history of animation as a whole. I hope to one day work on projects that inspired me as a child and eventually create something of my own to inspire another generation of creatives.
