About Patrick Decourcey

Patrick joined SBSI in 2010 as a Residential Loan Officer, and has since progressed within the bank to the role of Vice President, Assistant Retail Lending Manager. In his current position he views himself more as a coach than a manager, supporting the bank’s talented residential lending team. He thrives on the team’s successes and is deeply invested in navigating its challenges. Patrick believes that true collaboration and building authentic relationships are the cornerstones of success. Many of the clients he’s worked with have become lifelong friends. Before joining SBSI, Patrick gained experience as an Account Executive and Business Development Manager in the wholesale mortgage industry. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement Technology from Southern Maine Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Technical Leadership from the University of Southern Maine. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending quality time with his two adult sons, twin daughters, and his black lab, Otter. When he’s not working, he can be found skiing the mountains of Maine, hiking, camping, kayaking, or mountain biking.
