Experience secured as a former partner in UK and US law firms, in senior management within a Globally Significant Financial institution ( ex- Head of International Regulation Oversight) and as an Independent Consultant. Established track record working with the A-Z of re/Insurers, banks, intermediaries, regulators and law firms with respect to their local, regional and international activities including -Corporate Governance: Three Lines of Defence, Director and Senior Management accountability, establishing and drafting supporting policies, procedures, systems and controls- Compliance: Establishing, implementing, monitoring and supervising compliance and remediation programmes involving up to 100 countries- Enforcement: Internal and regulatory investigations and legal defence-Sustainable Finance: in depth and longstanding experience of all aspects of sustainable finance and underlying principles, voluntary standards and law and regulation on an industry specific basis. Development of policies to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions and asset types the avoidance of “Greenwashing” and management of the transition to Net Zero.
