About Patrick Donofrio

Patrick specializes in assisting multi-generational real estate and business owner families navigate the financial complexities of everyday life. By applying highly personalized strategies and employing the expertise of Scotiabank’s vast network of tax, estate, insurance, and philanthropic resources, he has helped hundreds of families create meaningful, long-lasting legacies. Prior to joining The Giordano Group, Scotia Wealth Management in 2017, Patrick earned a Rotman Commerce specialist in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto. He holds the Chartered Investment Management (CIM) designation and is currently in the process of obtaining the internationally recognized Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. In addition to his studies, Patrick founded a Canadian-based fin-tech startup as well as a real estate investment firm engaged in the acquisition and management of duplexes in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Aside from school and work, Patrick is a passionate writer, and helped co-author Dividend Growth Investing: The Wealth Building Machine. Patrick was born and raised in Vaughan, Ontario. When not helping clients, he can be found playing soccer, running, or travelling the world.
