About Patrick Ebewo

Dr Patrick Ebewo is a versatile enterprise and entrepreneurship development expert with many years of experience within the SADC region's academic arena. He has over a decade's worth of experience working closely with private and public enterprises to develop and moderate entrepreneurship initiatives that focus on social impact. He played a pivotal role in establishing Bopangpeo Business Accelerator NPC, The Tshwane University Technology Arts (Creative Enterprise) Incubator, a UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Sustainable Development for Southern Africa and Centres for Entrepreneurship Development. With such a burning desire for sustainable community and entrepreneurial development, he received awards and scholarships to recognise the above as a Mandela Rhodes Scholar (Cohort 2012, South Africa), Harambe Entrepreneur Associate (HEA' 2013, USA). He was a World Economic Forum Global Shaper 2013/2014 (Tshwane Hub, South Africa). Dr Ebewo currently has a dual responsibility at Tshwane University of Technology (South Africa), primarily a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship then as The Head: TUT Centre for Entrepreneurship Development. Dr Ebewo is formally recognised by SAIPA Centre of Business Advisory (CoBA), The South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) as a Professional Business Advisor (SA), a Member at Southern Africa Institute of Management Scientists (SAIMS) and Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA).
