About Patrick Elf

In my current capacity as Associate Professor - Sustainable Business at the Centre for Enterprise, Environment and Development Research (CEEDR), Middlesex University and as Co-I at the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP), University of Surrey, I conduct research exploring businesses' potential to operate as a force for good. Our research focuses on organisational and behavioural change mechanisms, including inter- and transdisciplinary work with leading businesses in the UK, Europe, and Latin America, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, on sustainable consumption issues, advancing the circular economy, and developing and implementing sustainable business models. Other research includes in-depth work with local governments on the Green Economy across London and investigating questions of wellbeing as well as work on sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystems, and the sustainable development goals (SDGS).
