About Patrick Fisher

As an Associate Clinical Consultant with Abiomed, I bring a wealth of experience in cardiac care, having previously worked as a full-time staff nurse in a CVICU specializing in heart and lung transplants. My background includes extensive expertise in managing critically ill patients immediately post-op, along with certifications in advanced life-support devices such as VV ECMO, VA ECMO, LVAD, Impella, Centrimag, and intra-aortic balloon pumps. I also played a key role in precepting new hires, from fresh graduates to seasoned nurses, and served PRN on the cardiac medical emergency rapid response team. My passion for patient care is complemented by my past certification as an ACE-certified personal trainer, which allows me to lead by example in promoting a healthy lifestyle. In my current role at Abiomed, I continue to apply my clinical knowledge to support and educate healthcare teams in the use of advanced medical devices, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.
