About Patrick Friedline

Training and educating adult learners has been a part of my life for 25+ years. Whether the training happened in a seminar or in a formal classroom setting, I have created and built classes for a wide range of adult learners. I have created educational experiences from new material that I put together and I have tailored classes from existing material to meet the stated educational goals. I have done brief 1 hour seminars to 5 week, 8 week and 16 week college classes. I seek to provide a comfortable atmosphere, where everyone participates and feels safe in asking questions and interacting with the material. I love facilitating the process of networking people together to accomplish everyone’s goals. My friendly, outgoing, and strong “Woo” personality of winning others over has been used daily, as I have connected college graduates and alumni to potential employers for the last 25 years. Having been on the candidate side of the career business encourages me to also see the impact I could have as a recruiter, making sure the correct people are in the spots needed. I have hosted large job fair events, where I marketed to both employers and candidates to bring them together in one spot. I work closely with Faculty to speak and present in their classes as a job search strategist and a career advising expert. Recognized by my clients as someone they easily relate to, I am able to engage students, alumni, and other clients in conversation and help them see their next steps. With my college Student Services experience, I know how higher education works and how to navigate my way in academia. Therefore, building relationships with universities and colleges to partner with them and recruit from them would be similar to what I have been doing to win faculty support. I have served hiring managers well by listening to their needs then connecting them with the correct talent to meet those needs. I am excited to use my “Woo” and experience to connect people.
