As the Front of House Manager at Altarena Playhouse, I oversee the operations and customer service of the beer and wine bar, the ushers and volunteers, and the theater announcements. I also assist the General Manager with shows and fundraisers, and manage the daily cash register and deposits. I have been in this role for five months, and I enjoy creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests and staff. Before joining Altarena Playhouse, I was the General Manager of the historic Crazy Horse Gentlemen's Club in downtown San Francisco for over six years. I was responsible for hiring and scheduling employees, maintaining profitability and revenue flow, ensuring legal compliance, and creating a positive work culture. I also have over 15 years of experience in corporate audio visual, where I managed video conferencing, webinars, and audio visual events for various clients and venues. I have a passion for music and entertainment, and I have skills in video editing, music production, and synthesis. I have played and performed in clubs and bars all over Northern California, and I have had music placements for NBC.com, VH1, and Showtime.
