About Patrick Gallaher

My healthcare career has been guided by a strong desire to help others. My interest in multiple venues of pharmacy practice has provided a broad bank of experience to apply to new challenges. I have found the tests of leadership to be the most rewarding when collaborative work leads to a team based positive outcome. I enjoy a measured balance of work and family. I also find great pleasure in the development of policy to help construct the framework of the future of pharmacy by working with our Washington State Legislators and currently as Commissioner with the Washington State Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (Formerly the WA State Board of Pharmacy). Lastly, I believe we all have a Providential direction within our grasp that will summon the most from which we have to offer. I try my best to follow that sense of guidance with a calm heart and open mind.
